Thanks so much for the Purple Turtle, Brutus, Dag Dan etc etc etc. I really feel like I did a true burn this year and saw the New Year in just right. Everything was perfect--the perfect burn, the great thunder storm the inforced silence and everyone who was there. Thanks again.

Jeffrey and I had a great time. I spoke with Gaia today (she's on her way back from Reno) and her weekend at the Burn was really profound. Last week I had thought I'd really miss being there, but, as it turns out, I feel that being at NBLB for me was as perfect for me as being at Black Rock City was for her. This NBLB ranks with my favorite B-man related events, despite the physical torture I put myself through. Thanks to everyone for creating a fun, loving, and supportive space.
And I think Seisen's idea of the "enforced silence" is a great way of looking at the power outage.

Sun, September 10, 2006 - 12:24 AMyeah, it was great for me too. I felt like I got a "mini-dose" of burning man. Just enough emotional peeling away to get some powerful insight about myself, not so much that I had a meltdown. It was good. I really appreciated how much effort everyone put into making the event special, from the very anatomically correct "mini-man" to the beautiful twinkly lights on the new and improved turtle space. It really was magickal and enjoyable for me, and came with oak trees, spectacular sunsets from the hills, and rain to cool me off just when things got a bit too hot. I loved dancing in the rain naked, it was a joyous experience. Thank you turtles!!!

(I've only played a couple of times before and had no clue) It was so cool Hans and I already bought a deluxe board and have been playing non stop! Thank you!!!!!!!
